(24) Thé Society

I love the western-style café (Doutor, Beck’s, Tully’s, etc.) in Japan. They’re quiet, they almost always play jazz (and not just the easy listening variety) and they’ve invented a delicious tea concoction: maccha latte (or maccha au lait or maccha milk), something like a cappuccino but with a basis of the green powdered tea used in sado (also known as “tea ceremony”). Oh, and they always have special rooms for smokers.
