It might look like a uniform; and in a way, it is. They are parents on their way to attend their children’s high school entrance ceremony (nyuugakushiki) a school in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. The ceremony follows a quite strictly specified program so it’s not a surprise they too have to adhere to very specific rules regarding what to wear and how to behave.
