On the festival's fringes, a small crowd had gathered around this trio that played songs from the first decades of the 20th century when Tokyo (and particularly Asakusa) was Asia’s Paris. Atsuko says I’m wrong but I insist that the singer even looks like one of that time’s legends, Shoji Taro.
