(297) Wisterias

The Shinto shrine Kameido Ten Jinja (亀戸天神社) in the Kameido area, east of the Sumida River in Tokyo is famous for its wisterias (in Japanese, “fuji”/藤 –this is another “fuji”, not the “Fuji”, “fuji” ). The best time to see them In full blossom is right now: mid-April to early May and, yes, there is a festival.
