All fairs/festivals don’t include appearances of idoru (アイドル) i.e. J-pop stars but in Atsugi the organizing committee apparently thought that some trio of girls dressed in Harajuku fashion would make the event more appealing. In the picture is a trio called “Short Story” –the site is, of course, only in Japanese- and unfortunately I didn’t have a wide-angle lens so I could catch the most interesting part of their show, their fan club: a group of men in their 30s-40s ecstatically singing along and dancing to their exact choreography.
