(379) Living tradition


My first iaido dojo was called “Furyu” (風流); the name is a concept from classic Japanese aesthetics and can be found in almost all traditional arts. And as is often the case in this culture, it isn’t a fossil from the feudal era but something alive that never stopped evolving.
