A week ago I wrote about the new chochin (提灯) lantern to be hanged in the Kaminarimon gate of Sensoji temple. And here is the Japanese religious-industrial-commercial complex in cordial cooperation: representatives of Sensoji, Matsushita/Panasonic and various professional associations of Asakusa, unveiling it to the public.
