Ueno is part of shitamachi (下町), the old city so music fans have tastes to match: instead of J-Pop people listen more to enka (演歌) ballads. The lady in the poster, Kaori Mizumori /水森かおり whose autograph the gentleman in the picture proudly displays is a singer of this genre.
