(1120) In the days of yore


A Tokyo National Museum exhibition about ancient Greece should naturally include the Japanese approach to the matter. Otherwise known as a huge ad for the manga/anime "Seinto Seiya" (聖闘士星矢) which supposedly draws some elements from Greek mythology.


Characteristic parts from some of the exhibition's works (like the fish from the 1650 BC "Fisherman" fresco of Akrotiri in Thera)...


...which are used as props for commemorative pictures. Which, incidentally, I found a very good idea.
