Admittedly it isn't exactly the building you expect to see in the area that has become synonymous with extreme street fashion but Harajuku Station has managed to blend perfectly with the neighborhood despite its appearance which doesn't allow much doubt about its age (it was built in 1924). Unfortunately, the building will be demolished and "renewed" for the 2020 Olympics.
Until then, it remains a hangout for those into cosplay -and one of their favorite settings for pictures.
